Konstanty Skirmunt

Konstanty Skirmunt ( born August 30, 1866 in Mołodów in Kobryn, † July 24, 1949 in Wałbrzych ) was a Polish politician, diplomat and foreign minister.

Life

Prior to 1914 he was a member of the Russian State Council, thereafter, in 1917 and 1918, member of the Polish National Committee ( Komitet Narodowy Polski ). From 1918 he worked at the State Department and was subsequently dated 11 June 1921 to the June 6, 1922 Polish Foreign Minister. From 1922 to 1929 he was a Polish envoy in London, and after the Polish representation was raised there in the embassy rank, he was ambassador from 1929 to 1934.
