The Koonung Creek ( or Koonung Koonung Creek ) is a creek in the Australian state of Victoria. It originates in Nunawading in Melbourne's east, near the Springvale Road and ends after 10.9 km from Ivanhoe East, Bulleen and Balwyn North in the Yarra River. At the mouth of the boundary lies between these districts. In his course of Koonung Creek takes in the Elgar Park in Mont Albert North on Bushy Creek, which today runs underground in a pipe. A combined foot and bicycle path, the Koonung Creek Trail follows the creek (and thus also the highway).

Melbourne Water assesses the state of the stream as "very bad". According to this authority the Koonung Creek is the most polluted rivers in Melbourne. Since the beginning of European colonization is the Koonung Creek in this poor condition.
