The nuclear power plant Gori (Korean 고리 원자력 발전소 ) is a nuclear power station in Gori, Kyongnam, Busan in South Korea. It has four blocks with pressurized water reactors, all of which are in operation.

The reactors

The nuclear power plant Gori consists of four reactors of Westinghouse. The reactors 3 and 4 were built along with Yeonggwang 1 and 2 and Uljin 1 and 2 under the second phase of the Korean nuclear program. The reactors were all 1977-1986 in commercial operation.

Plans for new reactors

In the vicinity of existing nuclear power plant Gori two new pressurized water reactors are built with 1000 MW in 2006 and 2007, respectively, to be called after completion of the nuclear power plant Singori.
