KOSDAQ

The KOSDAQ is the technology index of the stock market in South Korea, the Korea Exchange ( KRX ). The abbreviation means KOSDAQ Korean Securities Dealers Association Automated Quotations, is meant displaying the share values ​​by the Korean Association of Securities Dealers. For the first time the KOSDAQ was listed in 1996, was modeled on the U.S. technology index NASDAQ. In October 2005 894 companies were listed on the KOSDAQ technology index.
