Kosjerić

Kosjerić ( Serbian Cyrillic Косјерић ) is a city and a municipality in western Serbia, in Zlatibor Okrug. The municipality has 14,000 inhabitants, the city itself 4116 ( 2001). The municipality covers 359 square kilometers, with 26 villages, which lie mostly in the river valleys, though there are also settlements in the mountains at altitudes of over 1000 meters.

Geography

The city is situated on the road between Vojvodina and Belgrade in the east and the Adriatic Sea in the west. The city is located near the tourist areas in the mountains: Divčibare and Zlatibor. It lies at the foot of Drmanovina and Crnokosa Mountains.
