Kostas Sommer

Kostas Sommer ( born May 17, 1975) is a Greek- German actor.

Life

Summer was born in Germany, where he partly spent his youth. He grew up bilingual. His mother is German and his father a native of Crete Greek. Summer later moved with his family to Greece. He attended the German School of Athens. He made his first professional experience as an actor and model in Greece.

In 1995 he went to Los Angeles and studied acting training at the University of California, Los Angeles, from which he graduated in 1997 with a degree in acting. At UCLA, he worked with students performances as Treat in the play Orphans by Lyle Kessler and as Polo Pope in Poisoned Snow (A Hatful of Rain ) by Michael V. Gazzo with. At Trilogy Theatre in New York City, an off- Broadway theaters, he came into the title role of Ferenc Molnár's play Liliom and as Joe Bonaparte in the play Golden Boy by Clifford Odets.

In 2002, he played the Albanian workers Ilia in the Greek television series I makrya agapi apo irthe. This role gave him his first recognition in Greece; followed after more roles in television films and television series. In 2005, he had in the Hollywood film Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo the role of the Greek gigolo Assapopoulos Mariolis.

He became the popular media star through his series lead role in the television series Greek Tis agapis mahairia in Greece. In numerous magazines and journals published photo series with him as a male model. In the United States, he had his own TV show Extreme summer, in the summer presented itself in various extreme sports.
