Kotoko (singer)

Kotoko (Japaneseコトコ;? Born January 19 in Sapporo ), usually written only in capital letters, is a female J-pop, trance and techno singer.

They also composes and writes her own lyrics, and for other singers.

They often work together with the producers of I've Sound and contributed to many anime and computer games in songs, such as to Shakugan no Shana, Hayate no Gotoku! , Kannazuki no Miko and Starship Operators.

Biography

Since her school days in elementary school she thought that her career would depend on their voice, and took as possible to as many auditions part. In addition, she attended classes at the School of Music Haura with which they improved their skills.

A professional singer, she was in 1999. She won an audition, which was organized by the producers of I've Sound, and impressed with their first two albums. Her second album, Glass no Kaze, got a lot of good reviews and was highly praised in many Internet communities.

Their first album is called Sora o Tobetara and came in 2000 to the market. Many of the songs were later re-recorded for their first album I've Sound Hane.

Kotoko's first appearance in the U.S. was their successful appearance at the Anime Expo 2005, followed by KOTOKO LAX tour.
