Kozármisleny

Kozármisleny (German: Mischlen ) is a small town in the south of Hungary. It is situated in Baranya county and belongs to the small area of Pécs.

Location and transport

Kozármisleny is conveniently located near the highway 57 after Mohács and the opened in March 2010 M60 motorway Pécs - Budapest about 200 km south-southwest of Budapest, 110 km south of Lake Balaton and about 10 km southeast of the county seat Pecs in Branauer hills ( Baranyai dombság ).

History

Kozármisleny created in 1928 by the union of the two smaller communities Kiskozár and Misleny. The former was first mentioned in documents in 1332, second consists 1266th Both districts were inhabited during the Turkish occupation, in the 18th century Kiskozár was first used by Hungarians and South Slavs, later inhabited by Germans, while Misleny was constantly inhabited by Hungarians. In 2007 Kozármisleny became a town.
