Kraľovany
Kraľovany (Hungarian Kralován ) is a municipality in the north of Slovakia. It lies at the mouth of the river Orava in the Waag, at the foot of the Little and the Great Fatra, approximately 22 km from Martin and 18 km from Ružomberok.
The village was first mentioned in writing in 1363. It has a railway station on the route Košice - Žilina; the railway line Kraľovany - Trstená branches in place.
