Kramolna

Kramolna ( German Krumolna ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located two kilometers northwest of Náchod and belongs to Okres Náchod.

History

The village was first mentioned in 1415 Kramolna. It belonged to the rule Nachod with which it was connected until 1848. For the year 1651 42 residents are detected, two of which as a gardener, and the remaining were referred to as Chalupner. For the first half of the 18th century a manor house forestry and seven fish ponds are detected.

During the Seven Years' War began on September 17, 1756, the Prussian Lieutenant General Otto Magnus von Schwerin with his regiment in the field Náchod one. It consisted of 35,000 soldiers who camped north of the villages Vysokov and Kramolna. End of July 1758 took place battles between Austrian and Prussian troops in the area.

In the War of Bavarian Succession in 1778 the Prussian King Frederick II lived a few days in the house No. 39 in Kramolna. At the retreat from Russia in 1813 Napoleonic Prussian War of 1866 in the German and Austrian troops marched through Kramolna.

Following the lifting of patrimonial Kramolna, Trubějov and Lhotky formed a community. Although Kramolna had a higher population, was the local government in Trubějov. At the request of the inhabitants of Kramolna an independent municipality, this was 1876. Economically significant addition to agriculture was the home weaving. 1883 the volunteer fire brigade was founded. From 1961 to 1970 Kramolna belonged in turn to the community Trubějov. 1965, Kramolna 516 inhabitants.

District Trubějov

Trubějov also belonged to the rule Nachod. The first mention of it was 1402. 1965 it had 163 inhabitants.

District Lhotky

In Lhotky a farm ( Lhotecký dvůr ) and several houses in which lived the Gutsbediensteten were. The related real estate belonged to the subdivision by the Czechoslovak land reform from 1921 to rule Nachod. 1965 Lhotky had 117 inhabitants.

Attractions

  • The Marian Chapel in Kramolna was built in the 18th century in Baroque style, and later changed stylistically.
  • The Czechoslovak Hussite Church, built in 1936 a bell tower.
