Krayot

The Krajot (Hebrew קריות ) is a conurbation of six suburbs of the city of Haifa, Israel, which have now all grown to mid-sized cities. Originally founded in the 1930s as small settlements, they have grown in recent decades into a coherent metropolitan area. Individual settlement limits, also the city of Haifa, are no longer recognizable. The name Krajot is the plural of Kirja (Hebrew קרייה to German town or suburb ), which part of the name of all five municipalities. Kiryat Haim is not an independent municipality, but part of Haifa.
