Křimov

Křimov ( German Krima ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers north-west of Chomutov on a ridge between the valleys of Hutná and Křimovský creek in the Ore Mountains and belongs to Okres Chomutov.

History

The first mention of Krima comes from 1281, at that time, the village was owned by the German Order of Knights in Chomutov. The place was located at the Reichsstrasse, which on the one hand the village brought benefits, on the other hand, during the World Wars, much unhappiness. The inhabitants lived mainly from agriculture.

1672 directed the Protestant Electorate of Saxony in place the first parish to which the communities Neudorf, Sebastian Berg, Sonnenberg and Wohlau belong.

1872 was the railway connection with the construction of the 57.7 km long stretch of Buštěhrad Railway of Chomutov after Weipert, which branches off from the Krima -Neudorf Station route to Reitzenhain in Saxony went from 1874 in operation. There was connected to the railway Floeha - Reitzenhain. Today only the railway from Chomutov ( Chomutov ) to Vejprty ( Weipert ) in operation. 1946, the German Bohemian inhabitants were expelled.

In the years 1953-1958 the dam Křimov arose.

The community Křimov consists of the districts CELNA ( Customs House ), Domina, Krasna Lipa ( Schönlind b. Krima ) Křimov ( Krima ) Menhartice ( March village), Nebovazy ( Nokowitz ) Straz ( Tschoschl ) Strážky ( Troschig ) and Suchdol ( Dörnthal ). Basic settlement units are Domina, Krasna Lipa, Křimov, Menhartice, Nebovazy, Straz, Strážky and Suchdol

The municipality is divided into the Katastralbezirke Domina, Krasna Lipa u Křimova, Křimov, Menhartice u Křimova, Nebovazy, Straz u Křimova, Strážky u Křimova and Suchdol u Křimova.
