Kris Peeters

Kristiaan Peeters ( born May 18, 1962) is a Belgian politician of the Christian - Democratisch en Vlaams (CD & V). He's since June 27, 2007 Prime Minister of Flanders, succeeding Yves Leterme.

Life

Kris Peeters grew up in a Christian- democratic oriented parents. His father was for many years chairman of the Christelijke Volkspartij (CVP ) in Ruisbroeck.
