Krister Kristensson

Carl Krister Kristensson ( born July 25, 1942 in Malmö) is a former Swedish football player.

Career

Kristensson played 1963-1979 for Malmö FF. With 348 games in the Allsvenskan he keeps the internal association record. With the club he was seven times Swedish champion and took five times the Svenska Cupen. His last competitive game for the club was the semifinal in the European Champions Cup 1978/79 when Austria Wien was beaten 1-0 and the finale was reached. In the final defeat against Nottingham Forest he was no longer used, but still with the team received the Svenska Dagbladet Gold Medal -.

Between 1967 and 1972, denied Kristensson 38 caps in the Swedish national team. He participated for the national selection at the 1970 World Cup.
