Kristian Schultze

Kristian Schultze ( born January 21, 1945 in Frankfurt ( Oder), † November 22, 2011 in Bad Tolz ) was a German composer, arranger, keyboardist and music producer.

Life

Kristian Schultze was the son of the composer Norbert Schultze and the actress and singer Iwa Wanja. He studied piano and composition at the Municipal Conservatory, the former Stern Conservatory in Berlin, at the Vienna Music Academy and at the Jazz Academy in Graz. From the late 1960s he composed film music. 1973 to 1977 he was organist and keyboardist Klaus Doldinger's band in Passport. In 1979 he founded with Michael Holm, the music project Cusco. In 1980, he starred alongside Christian Bruhn one the keyboards of the German soundtrack to the TV series Captain Future. In the accompanying booklet, but he is listed in a modified notation as Kristian Schulze.

From 1984 he worked in Los Angeles together as a composer, arranger and co-producer with Giorgio Moroder. In 1998 he moved to Sachsenkam; Since 2002 he lived in Bad Tolz.

Schultze in 1956 was also seen in Max and Moritz as Moritz.
