Kristin von der Goltz

Kristin von der Goltz ( born 2 May 1966 in Würzburg ) is a German - Norwegian musician ( cellist ). She is the sister of Gottfried von der Goltz.

Life

During her private studies with William Pleeth in London played Kristin von der Goltz, inter alia, with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hanover Band.

From 1991 to 2004 she was a member of the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra. She performs today both on modern and on the baroque cello and is in demand as a solo cellist internationally. Since 1992 she is the cellist of the famous trio Vivente with Anne Catherine Schreiber, violin and Jutta Ernst, piano. From 2000 to 2004 she was a lecturer baroque cello at the Folkwang Musikhochschule in Duisburg. Since October 2001 she also teaches baroque cello at the Musikhochschule in Munich. At the Academy of Catholic Church Music and Music Education Regensburg has a lectureship in the early intervention class on modern cello since September 2004. She is a member of the Berlin Baroque Soloists. Since 2009 she has been vocal leader of the cellos in the Munich Chamber Orchestra and has been a professor baroque cello at the Musikhochschule Frankfurt.
