Krojanty

Krojanty ( German Krojanten, Kashubian: Krojantë ) is a village in the municipality of Chojnice ( Konitz ) in the Province of Pomerania in northern Poland.

The village is located on the southern edge of the Tuchel Heath, about seven kilometers northeast of Chojnice, located at the former Prussian Eastern Railway of Konitz about Rytel ( Rittel ) further Tczew ( Dirschau ).

On 1 September 1939 the Battle of Krojanty took place there, which actually became a propaganda myth because Polish cavalry met on German tanks.

The former country house, once owned by various noble families now home to a private clinic, which is also addressed to international patients.
