Kronberg (Lower Bavaria)
At the top of the Kronberg
The Kronberg is a 983 meter high mountain in the Bavarian Forest, which forms the highest point of a subordinate ridge between ground corn, Langsdorf and Böbrach midst of the county rain. He is not to be confused with the 785 -meter high mountain of the same in Viechtach.
On the rocky summit are a wooden cross with summit log and two catch benches. People come here rarely a wanderer, as higher and more famous mountains such as the Arber, or Silberberg are very close. But because of the Kronberg is the mountain of Langsdorf, there is still a summit cross. Only the prospect leaves something to be desired.
On the Kronberg several marked hiking trails lead from the stone hamlets, Schoeneck, Waldmann and Böhmhof ( breakpoint of Forest Railway ).
