Krzywe, EÅ‚k County

Krzywe ( German: Krzywen, 1907-1945 circular flow ) is a scoring for community Prostki village in the northeastern Mazury in Polish Warmia and Mazury, powiat Ełcki.

The village is located 12 kilometers northeast of the town crow Prostki ( German Prostken ) and 18 kilometers southeast of the county town of Elk ( Lyck German ).

North of Krzywe extends the Jezioro Krzywe ( German until 1907 Krzywener Lake, 1907-1945 Fließer Round Lake ), the ( German Statzener Lake ) is a small river in conjunction with the larger Jezioro Stackie.

History

1439 Krzywen was first mentioned as a freehold after Magdeburg law in a document.

On May 27, 1874 came in the wake of a Prussian government reform a new office district Sawadden, which included the rural communities Brodowen, Buczylowen, Cziessen, Czyntschen, Jebramken, Small Lasken, Krzywen, Kutzen, Ossarken, Statzen, Sypittken and Gutsbezirk Sawadden. On June 30, 1906, the District was renamed Sawadden Sypittken in office district.

1907 was renamed from Krzywen in circular flow, where it was until particular underlying Slavic ' krzywa ' (curve ) tried to transfer accordingly.

1908 includes the District Sypittken rural communities Czießen, Czynczen, Small Lasken, Kutzen, circular flow, Statzen and Sypittken itself and the Gutsbezirk Elk, Domänenamt (partially).

On December 1, 1910 consisted of circular flow 444 inhabitants.

October 1913 was connected with its own breakpoint at the Elk Kleinbahnen circular flow, which is a direct rail link to the city of Elk arose.

After the Second World War in 1945 that fell to the German Empire ( East Prussia ), Elk County, belonging circular flow to Poland. The resident population was German, if they had not fled, largely expelled after 1945 or expelled and replaced in addition to the traditional Masurian minority by new residents from other parts of Poland. The place circular flow has been renamed to the Polish spelling of the historic city name Krzywen in Krzywe.

From 1975 to 1998 Krzywe belonged to the former Suwałki Voivodeship, then came 1999 on the newly formed Warmia and Mazury.
