The Kumamoto Airport (Japanese :熊 本 空港, Kumamoto Kuko ) is a small commercial airport in the city of Kumamoto in Japan. The Kumamoto Airport is considered by the Japanese legislation as second class airport. Except for a flight connection to Incheon Airport in South Korea only targets within Japan will be served. The airport is located about 13 km northeast of the city center Kumamotos to the community area of the small town Mashiki.
