Kumzar (Arabic كمزار, Kumzar DMG ) is a city in the province of Musandam in Oman. It is located on the Strait of Hormuz, a few miles wide strait that connects the Persian Gulf with the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea. The city had about 3,000 inhabitants in 2007.
