Neoch, also Kuop, formerly royalist Atoll is an atoll of the Micronesian state of Chuuk in the immediate vicinity of the central main atoll of Chuuk.

Geography

Neoch is located less than three kilometers southeast of the islands of the southern Ocha and Meseong Riffkranzes of Chuuk, and is separated from it by the deep Mochun Nenno, which is characterized by strong currents. The uninhabited atoll has a rectangular shape and has four small islands scattered lying on the rim of the coral reef and taken together have a land area of ​​49 hectares. The main island Givry ( Feneppi ) is located in the "North corner " of the atoll.

The up to 46 meters deep lagoon has an area of ​​90 km ². In the middle of the southeast flank a deep but only 270 meters narrow passage for small boats leads into the lagoon.

Management
