Kupreanof is a village on the east coast of Kupreanof Island, a 2803 km ² island of Alexander Archipelago in Petersburg Census Area of the U.S. state of Alaska. According to the 2000 census, it has only 23 inhabitants, making it the smallest " incorporated city" of Alaska.

Kupreanof is the smaller of the two settlements on the Kupreanof Island. The village was, like the island, named after Baron Ivan Antonovich Kupreianow, who was governor from 1835 to 1840 the Russian - American Company.
