Kurogi (Fukuoka)

Kurogi (Japanese黒 木 町, machi ) was a town in Yame -gun in the Japanese prefecture of Fukuoka. On February 1, 2010, she united with Hoshino, Tachibana and Yabe the municipality YAME.

History

Kurogi originally belonged to Shimotsuma -gun, which merged on 26 February 1896 parts of Ikuha -gun to Yame -gun.

On April 1, 1954 4 were Mura (笠原 村( Kasahara -mura ) ,木屋 村( Kiya -mura ) ,串 毛 村( Kushige -mura ) and豊 冈村( Toyooka -mura ) ) and on 31 March 1957, a further mura (大 渊 村, Obuchi -mura ), each of the Yame -gun, incorporated.
