Kurt Jung-Alsen
Kurt Jung- Alsen ( born June 18, 1915 in Tutzing, † December 17, 1976 in Berlin) was a DEFA director.
Life and work
His most famous film is Betrayed Maguires (1957 ), which dealt with the inner state of the Wehrmacht soldiers. Interestingly, the film is also because he was not allowed to run in the competition at the instigation of the Federal Republic, which consisted in their sole representative for Germany, at the film festival in Cannes.
