Kurt Schrimm

Kurt Schrimm ( born June 29, 1949 in Stuttgart ) is a German attorney and since September 2000 Head of the Central Office of the State Justice Administration for the Investigation of National Socialist Crimes in Ludwigsburg.

Life

Schrimm came after studying the law on 1 August 1979 in the higher judicial service of the State of Baden- Württemberg. He worked as a court assessor at the district court and the prosecutor's office in Stuttgart, from 1982 as a prosecutor. In 1986, the task of the competent public prosecutor for investigation, he was assigned for murder in connection with the National Socialist violent crimes for the whole Higher Regional Court of Stuttgart. He was investigating the 1987 arrested and in 1992 sentenced to life imprisonment SS Sergeant Josef sponge Berger and 1988 against the Friedrich Engel called " Butcher of Genoa ' in international media. 1998 Schrimm was appointed Attorney General and has held since 2000 as a successor Willi Dreßens the line of the Central Office of the State Justice Administration for the Investigation of National Socialist Crimes in Ludwigsburg.
