Kwak Jae-yong

Kwak Jae- yong (born 22 May 1959 Suwon, South Korea) is a South Korean film director and screenwriter.

He studied at Kyung -Hee University Physics. His film career began fairly successful with Watercolor Painting in a Rainy Day but the failure of the next two strips prevented him eight years it continue its work. But in 2001 he made ​​his breakthrough with My Sassy Girl with Jun Ji -hyun. He is known for his penchant for love stories. Also Windstruck was a romantic comedy starring Jun Ji -hyun.
