Kwame Amoateng

Kwame Amoateng (born 8 August 1987) is a former Swedish footballer of Ghanaian origin.

Career

Amoateng played in youth Lundby IF, before the Gothenburg club GAIS joined as a junior player. He was taken into the professional squad in 2005 and came in second-rate Superettan four times used. After promotion to the Allsvenskan he came here once for use and was then loaned out to third division side FC Trollhättan to play matches. In the following season, he could not prevail at GAIS and was awarded to Husqvarna FF 2007. Before the 2008 season, there was once again a lending transaction, together with Pontus Johansson, he was discharged to Skärhamns IK.

In early 2009 left Amoateng, who had played twice for the Swedish Under-19 youth team, the Gothenburg club. About his future career nothing is known.
