Kyle Tress

Kyle Tress (born 29 May 1981) is an American skeleton pilot.

Kyle Tress lives in Ewing and studied at the Plattsburgh State University. In 2002 he began the sport of skeleton, since 2004 he is part of the U.S. national squad. His coaches are or were Tim Nardiello, Greg Sand, Jon Carlock and Orvie Garrett, Tress ' slide beut Ryan Davenport. His first race was the 2003 U.S. Junior Championships, where he finished tenth, one year later ninth. At the U.S. Championships of the year he was 15 in November 2004, he drove his first race as part of the Skeleton America's Cup and was 13th in Calgary, a month later drove tress in Park City for the first time in seventh place in the top ten. In qualifying for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, he had no chance against strong competition in their own country. In November 2005 he made his debut in Igls, however, in the skeleton and the European Cup was there behind Christopher Hedquist Second, reaching a first excellent result. It was not until early 2008 that Tress again achieved significant results. At the U.S. Championships in Lake Placid, he was fifth, while Skeleton Intercontinental race in Park City Ninth and Fifth in Lake Placid. In the overall standings of the Intercontinental Cup in 2007 /08 Tress came in at number eight. In December 2008, he celebrated his debut in the Skeleton World Cup and be on his favorite track in Igls 21. In the 2009/10 season he won the first three races of the Skeleton America's Cup in Park City and was in the next five races finished second twice and third once. A summary score he won with 500 points to consider before Chris Burgess with 373 points.
