Kyle Weems

Kyle Weems ( born August 23, 1989) is an American professional basketball player. For the season 2012/2013 Weems moved to Germany to begin at the Telekom Baskets Bonn his career as a professional basketball player.

The 100- kg Forward previously ran for five years for the Missouri State University, where he was awarded the 2010/2011 Player of the Year of the Missouri State Conference of the NCAA. In his senior year 2011/2012 Weems came to 15.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. He spent the summer break, then in the NBA Summer League and ran there on the team for the Toronto Raptors.

After he was offered a contract for the NBA to Weems decided to give it a move to Europe, and received a one-year contract at the Telekom Baskets Bonn. The Telekom Baskets to Weems could establish itself as a service provider and was top scorer of the team. After the season turned Weems back to the U.S. to make an attempt to receive another contract with an NBA team. Just as 2012 was Weems in 2013 in the NBA Summer League, this time for the team of the Atlanta Hawks. But in 2013 it finally was not enough for a contract in the NBA. Weems then returned to Germany and joined the Bundesliga Medi Bayreuth for the season 2013/2014 on.

Weems completed a course of study with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration.
