Kyongae Chang

Kyongae Chang ( born September 5, 1946 in Seoul) is a South Korean astrophysicist.

Life

She worked as a research assistant on astrometric binaries with Professors van de Kamp and Heintz at Sproul Observatory from 1969 to 1971. You received his doctorate in 1979 with a thesis on the microlensing effect on the today so-called Chang- Refsdal lens with Sjur Refsdal at the Hamburg Observatory of University of Hamburg.

She returned back to Korea in 1985 and has been a professor at Cheongju University. Her field of work is the theory of gravitational lenses.
