Kyyjärvi

Kyyjärvi is a Finnish municipality with 1469 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

Geography

Kyyjärvi located in the northeast of the landscape of Central Finland in the area of ​​sparsely populated Suomenselkä - moraine. The relief is hilly and reaches a height of 231 meters above the sea level. Large parts of the municipality are mired and still in a fairly natural state. The Aapamoore Pohjoisneva, Saarisuo, Valleussuo, Löytösuo, Hirvilampi and Peuralamminneva are reported as part of the Natura 2000 system as nature reserves. History
