La Condamine (crater)

La Condamine is an impact crater on the moon northwestern front. The crater is located at the southern edge of the Mare Frigoris, north of Maupertuis. The rim is heavily eroded, especially in the north. The crater floor has the typical floor - fractured craters fault structures.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by the French astronomer Charles -Marie de La Condamine.
