La Cruz is a village in Uruguay.

Geography

La Cruz is located on the territory of the department of Florida in the third sector The place is located in the western part of the department a few kilometers north of the capital of the department of Florida, as well as the La Macana and southeast of Pintado in the Cuchilla de La Cruz. Not far south of the village stems from the Arroyo Lindero.

History

On October 23, 1929, classified as Pueblo La Cruz by legislation (Ley No. 8.497 ).
