La Haute-Côte-Nord Regional County Municipality
La Haute- Côte -Nord is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.
It is located in the administrative region Côte -Nord and consists of nine subordinate administrative units (a city, seven municipalities and an unincorporated community ). The MRC was established on 1 January 1982. The main town is Les Escoumins. The population is 11,555 and the area of 12430.90 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 0.9 inhabitants per km ².
