La Locanda delle Fate
Locanda delle Fate is an Italian progressive rock band that was founded in 1971.
Band History
After the founding Locanda delle Fate were initially active as a cover band and played inter alia pieces of Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Blood, Sweat & Tears and Colosseum. In 1977 their debut album was released, the genre had to this time, however, already passed its zenith, and the great success failed. As La Locanda, the band released a single in 1980 and broke up then. In 1993, a live album was released with footage from the 1970s and 1999, there was a surprising new foundation of the band.
