La Plaine-des-Palmistes
La Plaine -des- Palmistes is a municipality in the northeast of Réunion, an island in the Indian Ocean that is covered by the same French overseas department. The inhabitants call themselves Palmiplainois.
The independent community in existence since 1899 and has more than 4500 inhabitants.
