La Riba

La Riba is a Catalan municipality in the province of Tarragona, in northeastern Spain. It is located in the comarca of Alt Camp.

Location and climate

La Riba lies at the confluence of the two rivers Bruigent and Francolí at a low mountain. It consists of the towns of La Riba with 710 residents and Les Hort Asses with 22 residents.

Culture and sights

Each year in November, here a mountain bike race is organized, which leads from the very top ( Cap de Riba ) on the " Costa " ( pedestrian walkway through the whole village with low levels ) down.

Economy and Transport

In La Riba There are currently two paper mills, one of which Goma camps.
