La Rivière-du-Nord Regional County Municipality

La Rivière -du-Nord is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.

It is located in the administrative region of Laurentides and consists of five subordinate administrative units ( three cities and two municipalities ). The MRC was established on 1 January 1983. The capital is Saint- Jérôme. The population is 115 098 and the area of ​​448.3 km ², representing a population density of 256.7 inhabitants per km ².
