Montcalm Regional County Municipality
Montcalm is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.
It is located in the administrative region of Lanaudière and consists of eleven subordinate administrative units (a city, six communities, one village and three Sprengel ). The MRC was established on 1 January 1982. The main town is Sainte- Julienne. The population is 46,918 and the area 707.8 km ², representing a population density of 66.3 inhabitants per km ². Named the MRC is by Louis -Joseph de Montcalm.
