La Romana International Airport

La Romana International (Spanish Aeropuerto Internacional de La Romana ) is the airport of lying to the east of the Dominican Republic city of La Romana. It is located about 8 km northeast of the city center.

The under planning since 1998, the airport was put into operation after only two years of construction 2000.

From Frankfurt, Condor runs in the winter season every Saturday, in addition to the days when cruise ships take the AIDA from the local harbor. Air Berlin flies to the year of Munich and Dusseldorf, Thomson Airways by some English cities and JetBlue Airways operates direct flight to New York JFK.
