Thomson Airways is a British airline based in London and based on the London Luton Airport. It is a subsidiary of TUI AG and a member of the affiliated group TUI Airlines.

History

With the merger of corporate travel division of TUI AG and the British tour operator First Choice in September 2007 it was decided in May 2008 to unite the two airlines Thomsonfly TUI and First Choice Airways from First Choice. On 1 November 2008, the merger began and was completed by 1 May 2009.

End of 2012, Thomson Airways introduced a new paint their aircraft. After Corsair International now also differs as this company from overarching design scheme of TUI Airlines.

On May 30, 2013 Thomson Airways received its first Boeing 787-8 for the modernization and expansion of long-haul fleet.

Destinations

Thomson Airways operated from several UK airports from destinations with a focus on Southern Europe and North Africa and the Caribbean. Other destinations are also, for example, the Maldives and Mexico.

As of August 2013 the fleet of Thomson Airways has 62 aircraft:
