Lac d'Aiguebelette

The Lac d' Aiguebelette is located in the Haute-Savoie department in the Rhône-Alpes region and covers an area of 545 hectares, the third largest natural lake in France. The lake is privately owned by the French utility EDF and the Chambost family.

The lake hosted the World Rowing Championships in 1997 and was also selected to host the World Rowing Championships in 2015.
