Ladhowal train fire

In the railway accident in Ludhiana burned on 15 May 2003 near the Indian city of Ludhiana three sleeping cars of the express train Frontier Golden Temple Mail from the trip from Mumbai to Amritsar.

The accident

The fire broke out in the last car of the train against 3:45 clock after the train had kept in Ladawal. About 38 people died [note 1] and at least 13 others were injured.
