Ladislav Žemla

Ladislav " Razny " Žemla ( born November 6, 1887 in Prague, † June 18, 1955 in Prague ) was a Bohemian- Czechoslovakian tennis player.

Žemla was a participant at the 1906 Summer Olympics in Athens, where in the men's doubles competition, he won the bronze medal with his fellow countryman Zdeněk Žemla. After further participation in the Games in London in 1908 and 1912 in Stockholm he only 14 years later, won the next medal at the Summer Olympics in Antwerp in 1920. With his country wife Milada Skrbková he won the bronze medal in mixed doubles. In the 1924 to be held in Paris Olympics Žemla came away empty. His Olympic career spanned a total period of 18 years, which meant participation in the interludes in 1906 and four regular summer games.
