Lahav

Lahav (Hebrew להב ) is a kibbutz in the Negev, as well as in the Southern District of Israel. The kibbutz is located about 20 km north of Be'er Sheva. In 2006, the kibbutz had 384 inhabitants and a size of 33,000 dunams, it falls under the jurisdiction of the B'nei Shimon Regional Council.

The kibbutz was founded in 1952 under the name Ziklag (Hebrew צקלג ) after the biblical city of Ziklag, which probably lay nearby. After a few years of the kibbutz Lahav was renamed in honor of the Nahal group that founded the kibbutz.
