Laila Robins

Laila Robins ( born March 14, 1959 in Saint Paul, Minnesota ) is an American actress.

Life and achievements

Robins debuted on the side of Kevin Anderson in the movie A Walk on the Moon in the year 1987. Placed In the film drama of cops on the cross ( 1989) she played a greater role opposite Tom Selleck and F. Murray Abraham. In the comedy, Roxy Carmichael (1990 ), she played the role of the school psychologist Elizabeth Zaks, with the student Dinky Bossetti ( Winona Ryder ) befriends.

In the thriller Bitter Triumph (1992 ) Robins was seen on the side of Beverly D' Angelo and Ned Beatty. In the thriller Oxygen ( 1999), she took on a greater role alongside Adrien Brody. In some episodes of the TV series The Sopranos, from the years 1999 and 2001 she played the role of Livia Soprano in their younger years.

Robins has performed in numerous plays. For the presentation of Portia in the play The Merchant of Venice in 1995, she won the Joe A. Callaway Award. For his role in the play Mrs. Klein was nominated for the 1997 Helen Hayes Award. For the role in Frozen, she was nominated for the 2004 Lucille Lortel Award.

Robins married actor Robert Cuccioli.
