Laird Cregar

Sanuel Laird Cregar ( born July 28, 1913 in Philadelphia, † December 9, 1944 in Los Angeles ) was an American film actor. He played in a few movies, but was considered a great film talent of his time.

Life

Cregar spent his school years in the UK, at the Winchester Academy. His training as an actor, he graduated in Longport and in his hometown of Philadelphia. He had in 1941 in the film Hudson 's Bay His first leading role. In total, he played only in 16 feature films.

His last film was The Hangover Square (1945 ). He died at the age of only 31 years of a heart attack.
