Lake Syväri

Syväri is a lake in the countryside Savo in eastern Finland. It has an area of 80.74 km ² and is situated at an altitude of 95.5 m. The lake is located within the municipal boundaries of Kuopio and Lapinlahti.

In the catchment area of the Syväri are several lakes located north-east: Nurmesjärvi, Sälevä, Korpinen, Älänne, Laakajärvi. About the Lastukoski rapids the lake water drains to the south lake Vuotjärvi and on to Iso - Kalla - lake system. The Nilsiän reitti waterway runs on the same route, bypassing the rapids on a shipping canal.
