Lake Tulos

Tulos (Russian Тулос; Finnish Tuulijärvi ) is a lake in the Republic of Karelia in northwestern Russia near the Finnish border.
The lake has an area of 95.7 km ². The coasts are heavily cut. There are 141 islands with a total area of 10.9 km ². The catchment area covers 832 km ². On the north shore of the lake, the small settlement located Tulos (Russian Тулос ). The outflow of Tulos forms of Tuulijoki (Russian Тула , Tula ), a right tributary of the Lieksanjoki.
The following species of fish in the lake: trout, grayling, Coregonus, vendace, perch, Rutilus, pike, dace, chub, bleak and bullhead.
